3 to 4 large sweet Vidalia onions, sliced into 1/4 inch rings

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Slice onions into 1/4-inch rings and layer in the baking dish.
  3. Mix melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
