Ingredients

Scale

8 oz penne pasta

2 ribeye or sirloin steaks

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning (divided)

Salt & black pepper to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. Season steaks with 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Rest the steak on a plate.
  4. In the same pan, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic; cook for 1 minute.
  5. Stir in cream, remaining Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and crushed red pepper flakes.
  6. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, then add parmesan and mozzarella, stirring until melted.
  7. Toss in cooked pasta, adding pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.
  8. Slice rested steak and serve over pasta. Spoon extra sauce on top and garnish with parsley.
