Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 cups rotini or fusilli pasta (uncooked)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
2 tbsp olive oil or butter
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat oil or butter and brown the ground beef.
- Add chopped onions and garlic; cook until softened.
