Ingredients

Scale

12 oz penne pasta

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 tablespoons honey

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Salt to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: Red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak pieces with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak in batches until browned and medium-rare. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  5. Stir in honey and let bubble for 1 minute to thicken slightly.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add Parmesan and stir until sauce thickens. Use reserved pasta water if needed.
  7. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat with the sauce. Return steak to the skillet and combine.
  8. Garnish with parsley and optional red pepper flakes. Serve immediately.
