Ingredients

Scale

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 pound chicken breast, sliced or shredded

1/2 pound smoked sausage, sliced

Salt and pepper to taste

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

2 cups chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce

1 packet ranch seasoning mix

12 oz penne pasta (uncooked)

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage and cook until browned, about 3–4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add chicken to the same pan. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Cook until golden and cooked through, about 5–6 minutes.
  3. Pour in the broth, cream, buffalo sauce, and ranch mix. Stir well.
  4. Add uncooked penne pasta to the pan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Stir in cheddar and Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce is creamy.
  6. Return sausage to the pan. Stir and cook 2–3 more minutes to combine flavors.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
