Ingredients
12 oz rigatoni or penne pasta
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced (optional)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1½ cups heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
6–8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and chop once cooled.
- Reserve 1–2 tablespoons of bacon grease in the skillet. Add ground beef and onion, cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess grease.
- Melt butter in the same skillet, stir in garlic for 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer. Add Parmesan and cheddar cheese. Stir until smooth and creamy.
