- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper or grease lightly.
- In a bowl, whisk melted butter with both sugars until smooth. Stir in eggs and vanilla.
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; add to wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips, reserving a few for topping.
- Spread dough into the pan. Top with reserved chocolate chips.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden and center is set.
- Cool completely before slicing.
