Ingredients

Scale

200g (7 oz) chow mein noodles

300g (10 oz) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 ½ cups broccoli florets

3 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp honey

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp vegetable oil

2 green onions, sliced

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain, rinse with cold water, toss with sesame oil, and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and oyster sauce (if using). Set the sauce aside.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or skillet. Add shrimp, season lightly, and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, stir-fry broccoli with a splash of water. Cover for 2 minutes, then stir-fry uncovered until crisp-tender.
  5. Add cooked noodles, shrimp, and sauce back to the wok. Toss everything together and heat for 2–3 minutes until evenly coated.
  6. Top with green onions and serve hot.
