Ingredients
200g (7 oz) chow mein noodles
300g (10 oz) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 ½ cups broccoli florets
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp honey
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 green onions, sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain, rinse with cold water, toss with sesame oil, and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and oyster sauce (if using). Set the sauce aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or skillet. Add shrimp, season lightly, and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, stir-fry broccoli with a splash of water. Cover for 2 minutes, then stir-fry uncovered until crisp-tender.
- Add cooked noodles, shrimp, and sauce back to the wok. Toss everything together and heat for 2–3 minutes until evenly coated.
- Top with green onions and serve hot.
