2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup dark brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup molasses
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Granulated sugar (for rolling)
Powdered sugar (for dusting after baking)
