1 box of brownie mix (family size, about 18.3 oz)
1 cup Dr. Pepper (not diet)
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking pan.
- Mix brownie mix and salt in a bowl.
- Pour in Dr. Pepper and oil, then stir until smooth.
- Fold in chocolate chips and vanilla extract if using.
- Pour into prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool completely before slicing.
