2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 1 lb total)

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

12 oz fettuccine pasta

3 tablespoons butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Pat steaks dry and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear steaks 4–5 minutes per side. Let rest.
  3. Cook fettuccine in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in cream, bring to simmer, then stir in parmesan and smoked paprika until smooth.
  6. Toss pasta in the sauce, adding pasta water if needed to thin.
  7. Slice steak, top pasta, and garnish with parsley and extra pepper.
