1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 ½ cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
8 oz penne pasta
½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

- Season the chicken with Cajun seasoning on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the chicken over medium-high heat for 5–6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Remove and let rest.
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup of pasta water.
- Make the sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and extra Cajun seasoning. Let the sauce thicken.
- Toss the pasta into the sauce and stir to coat. Add pasta water as needed to thin.
- Slice the chicken and add to the pasta. Mix or layer on top.
