Tender bowtie pasta is coated in a velvety Alfredo sauce and combined with seasoned ground beef for a hearty, comforting dish. Quick to make and packed with flavor, it’s an easy weeknight dinner the whole family will love!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef (lean preferred)
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup reserved pasta water (optional, for thinning the sauce)

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta – Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving ¼ cup of pasta water.

  • Cook the Beef – In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned and fully cooked (about 6-8 minutes). Drain excess grease and set beef aside.

  • Prepare the Sauce – In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

  • Combine with Alfredo Sauce – Pour in the Alfredo sauce and stir well to combine with the garlic. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen it up.

  • Mix Everything Together – Return the cooked beef to the skillet, stirring it into the sauce. Add the drained bowtie pasta and toss everything together until evenly coated.

  • Finish with Parmesan – Sprinkle grated Parmesan over the pasta and stir to combine. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

  • Serve & Enjoy – Remove from heat and serve warm, garnished with extra Parmesan and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning if desired.
