Description

Apple Pie Bombs are a bite-sized dessert bursting with warm spiced apple filling, wrapped in buttery dough, and topped with a drizzle of caramel sauce. Quick to prepare and irresistibly delicious, these treats are perfect for any occasion—whether you’re hosting a party, craving a cozy snack, or looking for a unique twist on classic apple pie.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1 cup apple pie filling (chopped into small pieces if needed)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Caramel sauce, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Separate the biscuit dough and flatten each piece into a small disc.
  3. Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of apple pie filling onto the center of each disc.
  4. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal tightly. Roll into a ball shape.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon. Dip each dough ball into the melted butter, then roll it in the cinnamon sugar mixture until coated.
  6. Place the coated dough balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Leave space between each one.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Let cool slightly, then drizzle with caramel sauce. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra crunch, add chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts to the filling.
  • If you prefer a stronger cinnamon flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon to the apple pie filling.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
